Mr. Katkov is 4th Degree Black Belt in Taekwon-Do with over 20 years experience in Martial Arts and many years in security. He started his training through International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) under General Choi Hong Hi where he achieved his 1^st Degree Black Belt in 1996. He achieved his 2^nd Degree through Global Taekwon-Do Federation (GTF) under Grand Master Park Jung Tae in 1997. He achieved his 3^rd Degree through Jung's Taekwon-Do Academy under Grand Master Jung in 2005. His 4th Degree and the Certificate of Internationally Certified Instructor was achieved through International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) under Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa at the International Instructors Course in Reno, NV in August 2009. He became Taekwon-Do Umpire Class A in 2011. Mr. Katkov has a Master's Degree in Education.
